5 Bullets of What I’m Doing Now

My Intention for this page: One of my core values is lifelong growth and transparency. I share this so clients can see that their therapist is also “walking the walk.” I also want to acknowledge that there is a level of privilege in being able to access the tools, time, and support that make this kind of work possible—not everyone has equal access to these resources. With that in mind, this page also serves as a resource (social media, blog, newsletter) for those who may not currently have access to therapy at this time.

  1. I’m currently taking four courses — Christian counseling, Postpartum Maternal Health, Private Practice Marketing, and Couples Counseling. These courses keep me accountable to my growth. I see education as a valuable privilege, and my goal is to give each client the best possible care tailored to their needs, using a strong understanding of psychology.

  2. Focusing on my physical health - my primary focus right now is strength training, recovery, and cardio. In my professional career, I’ve studied and read papers about the lifelong benefit of physical exercise on our overall health.

  3. Filming on Instagram, and TikTok - I make videos to help Asian women & interracial couples laugh and reflect. Moreover, these ideas serve as deeper dives into my therapy practice.

  4. Recording the Sincere Practice Podcast -Each week, I share honest moments from my life as a therapist—some laughs, some lessons, and what it’s really like behind the scenes. I talk about letting go of perfectionism, figuring out who I am, and building my practice while learning and growing along the way.

  5. Living out my faith in Christ while building a life in Los Angeles with my husband- I love being part of the vibrant energy of LA—the sunshine, the music, the culture, and the sense of community all around me. On my days to rest and recharge, I spend meaningful time with my church community, friends, and family, staying grounded and connected to the people who matter most.
